Inside The Mind Of... Me

And I don't want the world to see me
Because I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
-Iris, The Goo Goo Dolls

Day One: Ten things you want to say to ten different people right now.
Day Two: Nine things about yourself.
Day Three: Eight ways to win your heart.
Day Four: Seven things that cross your mind a lot.
Day Five: Six things you wish you’d never done.
Day Six: Five people who mean a lot (in no order whatsoever).
Day Seven: Four turn offs.
Day Eight: Three turn ons.
Day Nine: Two smileys that describe your life right now.
Day Ten: One confession.

Narrowing this down to seven is going to be a challenge I think, I spend most of my time thinking about things over and over again.
1. Please don't see me please don't see me please don't see me...

2. Don't ask me first, ask me any question but that one, he's going to ask me isn't he, oh crap that was my name.

3. FUCKING BUSES!!

4. How the hell do my nails keep getting so dirty?!

5. Hey, she's yummy...

6. I really hope no one knows what I'm thinking right now.

7. Well that was incredibly stupid.

In conclusion: I like to be invisible, I get annoyed at silly things, I'm a creep, I'm paranoid, and I'm stupid :)

8 Simple Rules

Over and over, over and over
I fall for you
Over and over, over and over
I try not to
Over and over, over and over
You make me fall for you
Over and over, over and over
You don't even try
-Over And Over, Three Days Grace

Day One: Ten things you want to say to ten different people right now.
Day Two: Nine things about yourself.
Day Three: Eight ways to win your heart.
Day Four: Seven things that cross your mind a lot.
Day Five: Six things you wish you’d never done.
Day Six: Five people who mean a lot (in no order whatsoever).
Day Seven: Four turn offs.
Day Eight: Three turn ons.
Day Nine: Two smileys that describe your life right now.
Day Ten: One confession.

This one seems like a bit of a bad idea. Seems like it would encourage creeps and all that, and I really don't think I need to give them more encouragement. Oh well, I did commit to this so...

1. Attention. I am pathetic, talk to me! It's not like I'm gonna start a conversation with you.

2. Protect me from spiders. They are after me, please kill them.

3. Talk to me, not at me. Otherwise I will assume you are near me by obligation, and eventually disappear.

4. Remember things about me. I like to repeat myself, but having proof that someone has listened makes me feel special. Once again, I am pathetic.

5. Don't block my joy. I am insane, deal with it. If I want to skip instead of walk then let me, even better, join me.

6. Persistence. Which is a stupid thing to say, because that's more often annoying than endearing. So uh, be persistent, but don't push it.

7. Don't make fun of my taste in stuff. I know I like a weird combination of music, I know I wear odd clothes sometimes, and I know I like stupid girly books. Leave me alone, at least I have my own opinions about something.

8. Save me from scary social situations. Let me hide behind you if I don't know anyone else at a party, or hang out with me until I'm drunk enough to socialise normally. One person is easier to deal with than a crowd.
Note: These things aren't a recipe for success, I still have to actually like someone for them to get anywhere. If I don't like you, please leave me alone.

Window

[Me] You are delusions of my mind
[Reason] And so we are, we're all a part of you
[Me] Am I a part of some design?
[Reason] The one design is in your head

I appear to have started a trend with this 10 Days thing, I feel pretty awesome right now.  Also, that song up the top there is pretty cool, Devon found it when I told him to find a song for this blog. You should go find it on YouTube.

Now to try to think of nine things about me that you don't already know...

1. I often don't know what I'm on about any more than you do.

2. I have so many imaginary conversations with people that sometimes I forget what I've actually said to them.

3. I enjoy washing my hair.

4. You know how people say, "It's more sacred of you than you are of it"? Well, I'm the it.

5. I'm really good at holding grudges, but I tend not to show it.

6. I'm only pretending to hate everyone. I'm just jealous, and it's easier this way.

7. Often the 'dumb clueless person' act isn't an act.

8. I will never be happy with the way I look, no matter what anyone says.

9. There are perfectly logical explanations for many of the things I say/do.

Not entirely sure what I'm going to write for Day 10 now, lol.

Jumping On The Bandwagon

Yes I'm wishing my life away
With these things I'll never say
-Things I'll Never Say, Avril Lavigne

I'm much too lazy to steal the 30 Days of Me thing from Hailz, so I will attempt this 10 Days thingy I stole from some random on DeviantArt:

Day One: Ten things you want to say to ten different people right now.
Day Two: Nine things about yourself.
Day Three: Eight ways to win your heart.
Day Four: Seven things that cross your mind a lot.
Day Five: Six things you wish you’d never done.
Day Six: Five people who mean a lot (in no order whatsoever).
Day Seven: Four turn offs.
Day Eight: Three turn ons.
Day Nine: Two smileys that describe your life right now.
Day Ten: One confession.

Like all the other things I decide to blog about, it will probably never be finished. But oh well. Here's day one.

1. I honestly don't understand why someone like you would hang out with someone like me. I turn to you with stupid problems, and half the time I ignore your advice, even though I know you're right. Did I mention you're awesome?

2. Thank you. Those few real talks we've had were awesome. Too bad you act like a dick most of the time. I totally understand why though.

3. I probably should have listened to you (well, I did listen, I just didn't do anything). It's not that I disagreed or anything, I just don't have the motivation. Just having someone notice, and even make some sense of it all helped a lot. Even though I highly doubt you remember, thank you.

4. I've already told you this, but I don't think you believed me. I'm sorry, that was just as stupid as expected. And it was my fault, not yours, you idiot.

5. Stop being so paranoid. The whole world isn't out to get you, and neither am I. I love you, why would I hurt you intentionally? I'm just stupid. Also, you should be mad at me, not him.

6. That was me by the way.

7. There's no way you'll ever see this, but thank you. You helped me to sing in front of people properly for the first time. I wish I'd known you better.

8. I love you, but you make me feel so old and mature. And that's just ridiculous.

9. You have cool pinstriped pants. I'm sorry if my staring disturbed you.

10. I really wish you'd talked to me, instead of acting like nothing happened. It would've made life a whole lot easier, and maybe I wouldn't still hate you.

So... Yea. Ten things I'd never say to people's faces. 50,000 points to whoever can guess them all. Providing you're not Devon, 'cause he knows them all.

Maybes And Mistakes

Is that what you call a getaway
Well tell me what you got away with
'Cause I've seen more spine in jellyfish
I've seen more guts in eleven year old kids
So have another drink and drive yourself home
I hope there's ice on all the roads
So you can think of me when you forget you seatbelt
And again when your head goes through the windshield
-Seventy Times Seven, Brand New

Making a mistake sucks. Being a mistake sucks more. But hey, that's me. I dig myself a hole and forget to build a wall around it so I don't bring everyone else down with me. At least I'm good at something.

The worst part is the aftermath. Where I can't stop thinking about what happened, what could have happened, and what should have happened. This goes on for a long time. Then it's all brought back when the next mistake happens.

'Mistake' is such a loaded word. It implies something that you did by accident. As opposed to something you did, then realised it was stupid. It also implies something that you learn from, and don't do again. Or maybe it's just me, maybe these things aren't mistakes at all.

And maybe, just maybe, these stupid thoughts don't have anything to do with self destruction. Maybe I meant to do these stupid things. Maybe, for once, I'm not a fake.

But I doubt it.
